The regular Active Holiday Weeks always start on a Saturday, but .... it is possible to determine your own start date. Sometimes flights to Malaga are more expensive, sometimes cheaper. Book your flight on the cheapest day and save a lot of Euros. You can start your Nerja Active Holiday week on any day. The only condition: make sure that your group consists of at least 6 people. The total price of the Active Holiday Week is € 645, - per person if you stay with 2 people in one room.
The total price of the Active Holiday Week is € 725, - per person in case of single occupancy.
When upgrading to a stay in an apartment, the extra costs, irrespective of 1 or 2 persons is Euro 77,- for the entire week.

When booking you pay a deposit of Euro 100, - per person. You can transfer the payment to our Spanish bank account or pay with a credit card.

The remaining amount of the total amount is due 1 calendar month before the starting date of your Active Holiday Week.

You must have a good travel insurance, in addition we advise you to take out a cancellation insurance. Something can always happen that requires you to cancel or to interrupt your holiday. The walks take place in the riverbeds or on flat and slightly hilly terrain. Nerja and its immediate surroundings have a wide variety of terrain and on request, hikes of a higher difficulty can be made.

Our hiking tours are middle long in terms of distance, with little height differences and allow you to walk calmly and enjoy the beautiful scenery. On request it is possible to adjust the hikes to almost any desired level of difficulty. The Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama natural park starts right outside Nerja and has peaks up to almost 2,000 meters (6.500 ft).

The minimum number of participants per group is 6, the maximum number of participants is 20 people.

The participants are usually of different age groups but must be at least 18 years old.

Single participants are more than welcome. The Active Holiday Week is an excellent opportunity to get to know like-minded single or not, active people!

A pair of comfortable walking shoes, a pair of sports shoes that are suitable for walking in the river (aquatrekking day 3), a waterproof jacket, trousers / shorts that dry quickly, bandana/cap/hat, hiking T-shirts, a fleece for warmth and although the weather is almost always good, rain clothing or a small folding poncho can not be missed.
In terms of clothing, rather choose more thin layers than one thick one. Bring a backpack that is comfortable to wear while walking and ensure a good sun protection cream.

In the event of unforeseen weather conditions that can be estimated as bad or dangerous, Active Holidays Nerja reserves the right to suspend or cancel the activity of that day. We will do our best to inform you in advance and as soon as possible. If the activity of the day is to be suspended or cancelled, we will do our best to offer you an attractive as possible alternative program.

You take your breakfast daily at the hotel, your lunch is often a packed lunch during an activity or a lunch in a restaurant - your dinner consists of a daily menu (menu del dia) and takes place in various restaurants in the centre of Nerja, all within walking distance of your hotel.

If you have special requests, please let us know when booking and we will take this into account.
